DEKAFLAKE
What is DEKAFLAKE?
Located within a 5,700 m² facility, the DEKAFLAKE production line focuses on processed grain-based feed ingredients using a controlled process approach. Monthly production capacity is 2,500 tonnes.

DEKAFLAKE
Controlled steam and rolling process
DEKAFLAKE is a group of processed grain-based feed ingredients in flake form, obtained by controlled steaming, rolling and drying of corn and barley, and produced for use in dairy and beef cattle rations.
- 01
Conditioning
Grain is conditioned under controlled moisture.
- 02
Steaming
Grain is tempered with saturated steam.
- 03
Rolling
Grain is flaked using precision rollers.
Controlled heat, moisture and mechanical processing
- Heat and moisture penetrate the grain.
- Starch granules undergo gelatinisation.
- The protein-starch matrix loosens.
- The grain surface area increases.
This makes starch more accessible to digestive enzymes and rumen microorganisms.
Why DEKAFLAKE?
The foundations of our production approach
Controlled raw material selection
Controlled steam and roller management
Consistent flake structure
Traceable product standard
Verifiable analysis data
Physical suitability and disciplined storage
The aim goes beyond producing flakes: it is to provide a technically definable, measurable quality standard that supports more predictable use in rations.
